LayerZero Joins Reya to Expand Omnichain Token Mobility

Key Highlights

Reya adopts LayerZero’s OFT and Vault standards for REYA and sREYA.

Tokens gain instant mobility across 150+ chains.

The move follows LayerZero integrations with PayPal and others.

Reya, a perps DEX running on an Ethereum ZK rollup, is teaming with LayerZero, a major cross-chain messaging protocol. REYA and its staking token sREYA will move under LayerZero standards, linking the DEX to more than 150 networks.

The move, announced on X, connects Reya’s execution layer to Ethereum security while giving users unified balances across chains. It also reduces reliance on traditional bridge flows.

Investor impact

For investors, cross-chain mobility reduces fragmentation. Tokens can be staked on Ethereum and used on Reya without managing separate balances or bridge risks.

Reya (@reya_xyz), the perps DEX built on its own ZK rollup on Ethereum, will adopt the OFT Standard for its native token, REYA.sREYA, the staking derivative of REYA, will also integrate OVault, making its staking vaults the first chain-agnostic staking primitives in a perps… https://t.co/YrbqmKCoiK pic.twitter.com/utKZ3G8bPo— LayerZero (@LayerZero_Core) November 28, 2025

The partnership also supports faster migration of capital into Reya’s trading system, which helps users access liquidity wherever it sits.

What changes with OFT and OVault

REYA will relaunch as an Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT), LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Standard. sREYA will use the Omnichain Vault Standard, letting staking remain anchored to Ethereum while enabling cross-chain transfers.

Both tokens gain instant movement across LayerZero-connected networks, creating unified balances and smoother collateral flows for traders.

LayerZero’s broader expansion

LayerZero has been expanding its role across payments and stablecoins. In September, PayPal used the protocol to extend PYUSD to new chains and launch the permissionless PYUSD0 version.

That rollout added support across networks like Aptos, Avalanche, Sei, Tron, and Abstract, strengthening LayerZero’s position in multi-chain asset routing.

What’s next

Reya plans deeper OFT integration, allowing more LayerZero-connected tokens to enter its DEX for collateral and margin use.

LayerZero continues adding partners, setting the stage for more omnichain assets and new trading environments tied to Ethereum’s security.
